Hiking
Walk the paths connecting the villages to each other. Discover sites like the waterfalls of the Apostles, or the old German mines of 1903.

Theologos is the old capital of the island and has a large network of paths to the entire southern part of the island. The stone dominates the architecture of the village. It has beautiful cobblestone streets to browse, old mansions and a folk museum. You can also follow the path in the stream with the unique stone bridge, the ruins of the watermills and the waterfall. Alternatively, you can climb up the hillside with the ruins of the old settlement "Citizens".

Kastro is the oldest settlement on the island and it is located at the northeast of Limenaria at a distance of 12 km. It is located at an altitude of 500m and is not distinguished from the lowlands. There are two routes you can follow to get there. The main road is from Kalyvia in Limenaria, recently paved, offering mainly for driving. The alternative route passes through the waterfalls of the Apostles. The scenery is magnificent, as you will pass through plane trees olive groves and pine forests. You will have the opportunity to experience the true contact with the nature of the island.

Kazaviti is one of the most well-preserved architectural traditional settlements of Thassos. You can choose one of the many marked paths that start from the village square and extend all over the area. The route is impressive and ends in chapels with panoramic views.

Diving
The options are many. The beaches of Minelia, Trypiti, Pefkari, Potos Psili Ammos are within walking distance and will compensate for your nearby search. If you want to go further then drive to Alykes and the beaches near the monastery of Archangel Michael.

Boat Trip
In a place that has been famous since antiquity for its inhabitants' maritime activities, you can find a boat yacht in Potos and Limenaria, and a number of good moorings near the coast. Hiring a boat can give you a unique feeling of freedom. You can rent a boat and enjoy the beautiful Aegean Sea and visit some of the secluded beaches that are not accessible in any other way.

Mountain Bike
The options for exploration are many depending on the type of bicycle that suits you. You can follow the seafront road network or get lost on the various trails if you are interested in Mountain Biking. Thassos is an ideal destination for mountain bike enthusiasts who have a dense network of forest roads and paths with impressive landscapes and wonderful panoramic views. If you do not have bicycles you can rent in various parts of the island.
